INTRO
Beautiful Ventures is a creative social enterprise that influences popular culture, disrupts anti-blackness, and elevates perceptions of Black humanity. Their instagram content was convoluted since they didn’t have a social media content strategist or graphic designer since the beginning of 2019.
This was an issue since they wanted to use instagram as means to connect with their followers consistently, grow their account, and get their brand out there. Taking on social media strategy seemed like a daunting task, but we started with strategy, defined goals, and I began creating content aligned with the organization.
CONCEPT
Their new social media strategy was all about making all of their new content look cohesive and on brand, creating relevant and engaging content for their followers that varied from ages 17-50, and to building a relationship with followers via consistent posts, stories, and interaction. Having in mind the target audience and BV’s mission, I started creating content that was visually appealing, modern, resourceful, and educational.
Solutions
After social media account analysis and research, their social media accounts have been revamped. The consistent use of brand colors and fonts has made the account unmistakably Beautiful Venture’s account. Important information, events, and relevant pop culture news for Black creatives are now easily accessible and appealing to their old and new followers. Account engagement rate has increased by providing followers posts that are useful and appealing.
